The most techie cruise will set sail in May. Do you want to know what is the requirement to board?

The Royal Caribbean company announced that its brand new ship Odyssey of the Seas will set sail from Israel in May, becoming the first cruise company to operate a route exclusively for people who are vaccinated against Covid-19, an essential requirement for both crew and passengers.

The convenience of offering cruises from Israel is because it is the country that leads per capita vaccination worldwide. Of the 9 million inhabitants that Israel has, 54.7% of the population has already received the second dose.

While it is not Royal Caribbean's largest cruise ship, it is the most innovative in terms of technological entertainment. This is the case of SeaPlex, defined as "the largest complex of augmented reality games on board". It includes a surf simulator, a zero gravity tunnel, a 12 meter high climbing wall, a trampoline-bungee and a bumper car track.

In addition, it has 2 decks dedicated exclusively to pools and water features, plus an incredible glass cabin that rises 91 meters high to offer 360-degree panoramic views of the cruise ship and the sea.

The travel route includes itineraries from 3 to 7 nights to the Greek islands of Rhodes, Santorini, Mykonos plus the city of Athens, in Greece; and also Limassol in Cyprus.
