IATA Travel Pass: un requisito indispensable para viajar en vuelos internacional

The IATA Travel Pass provides a framework of consistency, predictability and security at a global level with a double objective: to simplify the experience of travelers and encourage travel, and also to speed up the procedures for verifying health requirements.

Let us remember that IATA (International Air Transport Association) groups together almost 300 of the largest airlines in the world and the vast majority of them have already confirmed that said IATA Travel Pass app will be an essential requirement to be able to travel on their international flights.

The pass is a mobile application that helps passengers to simply and securely manage their information and travel documents, and comply with official precautionary requirements to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In addition to flight details and personal information, including passport data, the app can also store verified COVID-19 test results and vaccination test. It also includes an option to securely share required information with test labs or airlines.

According to IATA, users should not worry about the security of their data, as it remains confidential and is stored in an encrypted form locally, on the phone. If the application is deleted, all user data stored in it is also deleted.
